I have arrived

After a long and interesting flight, I had arrived in Bangkok. With the sweet sewer air, and obnoxious drunks to greet me with my arrival! I soon found out that my room for the night, was also home to a family of pigeons, who nested quite nicely behind the air conditioner... which did not work! Haha, It's a bitter sweet thing, this city. Unfortunately, I left that same day on an over night bus that has brought me to this most lovely city, which is called Chiang Mai. The long bus ride was worth it. It does help when the person sitting next to you is friendly and full of interesting stories to past the time.
I arrived early this morning, met a fellow Canadian from New Brunswick, and helped him clean his nasty war wound from tubbing in Laos. I'm pretty sure I'd make an excellent Nurse!
So now, I'm bicycling around the city, waiting for my last bus, to my final destination which is Pai. Another 4 hours, but the scenery is all worth it.
Excuse me while I hop back on my Bicycle, and see where my blue-basket friend will take me this time!

Destination...?!

2 days. My nerves are really starting to kick in now.
I'm thinking about how much I miss my job, even though I was more than ready to leave. I'm thinking about my dearest friends I see more often than not. My family, and being able to meet them all (at home!) for dinner, on rare, but beautiful occasions! It usually ends up with Travis, winning all of my moms money in a poker tournament, $180 I believe?!
Great times all around.

Although I'm leaving, I'm still moving forward. Just like everyone else around me. I believe that we all move, and weave throughout each others lives, learning and growing with each person we meet. I don't think I'll ever understand the timing part of it though! I don't really want to any how.
I feel very lucky, and privileged, to have all these beautiful people in my life.

I'm going to miss everyone dearly, and wish you all the best of luck...until we meet again.
